Puerto Rico Commercial Photographer / Videographer FAQ
How can I book you?
I normally work with a deposit or retainer upfront which reserves the day/hours of service exclusively for you or your company. By doing this, I turn down other job opportunities for this specific date and try to keep an organized agenda by assigning dates on a first come, first served basis.
What’s your cancelation policy?
My aim with it is to make it as just as possible. Although deposits are non-refundable, I’ll give you a full refund if canceled no later than 15 days prior to the session and also in the case of unfortunate events like natural disasters, travel restrictions or understandable incidents after that period.
What about rescheduling?
I’d really appreciate at least one week's notice for it, but if we’re forced to postpone due to bad weather or any of the reasons stated above, any deposit payment received may be credited towards a new date/s.
When do I get my pictures/videos?
Turnaround time is about one week for most jobs. For commercial work; a private proofing gallery will be setup, at about the same time. Video editing times vary due to complexity, length and other variables. I can also provide images within 24 hours, or on the same day for an additional cost.
How do I get my pictures/videos?
All the images I create are delivered through an online sharing platform in the form of a link. Keep in mind that this is not a storage service, and it’s your responsibility to download and backup those files as the link will be active only for one week. We normally deal with thousands of images weekly and once they’re delivered they’re moved to external hard drives for archiving. Reuploading of already delivered images will carry a fee of at least $50.
Will my pictures be retouched?
Yes, all the images I deliver are retouched. While some might have a basic retouching others like headshots or commercial work will be fully retouched. Real estate images will also undergo advanced retouching, but removal of objects purposely placed in the property (like furniture, artwork etc) will have an additional fee. Also I do not provide unedited RAW still images as those are halfway through my regular workflow process and won't look like the images you see here in my website.
What locations do you service?
I provide photography and video services throughout Puerto Rico and the Caribbean. Although PR is not that big, it takes around 3 hours to drive southwest from San Juan, so travel fees vary according to where I’m going. I also have experienced traveling for work as I’m often working around the Caribbean.
Do you have insurance?
Yes, I do. As a professional photographer, I'm covered with commercial general liability of $2M as well as coverage for my own equipment and rentals. Please allow at least a week for a proof of insurance certificate to your company.
What about copyrights?
